My entry for Rift’s Create a Colossus Challenge! (Click for dA)
“The sea serpent Colossus can be seen occasionally grazing the ocean surface in search for unwitting adventurers for a snack. When under attack, it takes on a secondary form by twisting and contorting bubbles of trapped air in a vortex around its vulnerable, fish-like body. This form is ever-changing; in this case it takes the shape of a many-headed hydra, with heads budding and dissipating before the eye.”
